Opera_ dolls

Collection *OPERA_ was shown at the exclusive Syb-A-Festo held in London, England on October 13th, 2006. There, the *OPERA_ dolls were unveiled and various acts of the story, including backstabbing friends, gossip and a lesbian love triangle were revealed in each display case. Blood is symbolized by the red velvet ribbon on the back of Jiu's dress, the Bandileras which are stabbed into her back, and those in Ba's thigh. They were Chalk White dolls with the Generation I body.

Dolls from this collection each represented a character in the dramatic story line. Instead of wearing wigs, each doll's head is wrapped in a fine muslin fabric. Each doll has some sort of a circle incorporated into the design of her outfit. The names stand for a number in the Mandarin Chinese language.
