The theme was Japanese kimono inspired & the color black the overall scheme, however some bear no reference to kimono, but rather reflections of pop culture. The collection name was not derived from the color black, but rather from the cult phrase "Texas Chainsaw Mascara." (quote: Priscilla Queen of the Desert) Collection Mascara was made at the time of the Tsunami, thus all doll names were derived from severe weather conditions and the time of year.

They were Chalk White dolls with the Generation I body. Dolls from this collection had removable black mohair wigs. Included on each ensemble was a piece of black tape which said "Made in England " in white letters incorporated somewhere in the outfit's design. Their ensembles are made in silk organza, delicate Chantilly lace, taffeta and some incorporate wood and leather. Avalanche, Tsu Tsu, Storm and Hail were shown in London, England at the Doll and Bear Show in September of 2005.

Pictured at right are Gale and September from the collection.
